Hey there, I'm Kimberly. I'm this close to being 34 and currently call Sacramento, CA, my home, though my heart will always be in the Bay Area. An admin assistant by day, cook/photographer/blogger by night, I spend the rest of my time taking random photos of nearly everything I see, singing soprano in the Cathedral Choir of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament (though I was on hiatus last season), and spending plenty of cuddle time with the three best cats on the planet: Beni, Hana, and StuKitty.
My parents are my best friends and I talk to them almost every single day for guidance, venting, or just general gossip. And though I don't get to see them as often as I used to, my core of non-parent friends is strong and filled with some of the most awesome people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
I'm a walking contradiction and happily so; it seems to add a lot of spice to my life. I am a klutz and grow more & more accepting of that fact as I get older. I am a hopeless romantic and semi-professional flirt, but am perfectly content being single and having oodles of Me time.

- i started talking at 8 months old and haven't stopped since.
- despite that fact, i am an excellent listener.
- i freak out if i don't have at least one tube of lip gloss on hand.
- i am of the opinion that pink floyd is the greatest band of all time. ever.
- i actually don't care for the creme center of the oreo. i prefer the simplicity of the dark chocolate cookie on its own.
- good live music performances feed my entire being like nothing else can.
- i drink about a gallon of water a day.
- i strongly believe that chocolate should be the 5th food group.
- i have a brown belt in kenpo karate
- i know 3.75 languages (English, Spanish, French and the Italian in arias that I sing)
- my cats are my babies and i will refer to them as such without shame or embarrassment. :)
- i have an unnatural fear of sliding/rolling on my feet. this is why i don't ski, skate or snowboard.
- i have terrible knife technique in the kitchen. not merylstreepasjuliachildinjulie&julia bad, but still pretty bad, considering how much time I spend in the kitchen.
- financial and work-related independence are dreams i am actively trying to turn into reality
- i'm obsessed with the weather.
- taking pictures of everything makes me happy
